Vanessa Maver is a Melbourne based artist. Vanessa creates plant obsessed original art to bring joy to your space, and runs creative workshops for beginners and emerging artists. Vanessa believes in the power of art and creativity to make change and inspire.Vanessa's passion is in painting nature and the everyday, with her botanical abstracts & mini interiors paintings,, as she finds beauty in practically everything and wants to share it. Vanessa’s other passion is teaching anybody and everybody to tap into their creativity as a way to heal, grow and develop their own sense of belonging. Vanessa is on a mission to build a thriving and supportive art community where others can flourish.Vanessa hosted her recent show, Life In Colour, with fellow artists Amy Compton and Bree Morrison at The Green Space, Mentone, November 2024. Was a Finalist in the Weswal Gallery, Interiors Art Prize 2024, a finalist in the Art to Art, Unearthed Art Prize 2023 and 2024, and awarded Directors Choice, Aspire Gallery 2022.
