Verdant (adj) : green, flourishing, thrivingFounded by yoga instructor and florist Emily Rezetko in Chicago in October 2020. We believe in offering opportunities to cultivate peace, self love, gratitude, and non-judgement that meet you where you are. This might be through a therapeutic yoga practice, wellness retreat, or visit to the Grand Garden. We can't wait to meet you :)Emily has been teaching yoga in Chicago for 10 years and has recently completed her 800 hr Yoga Therapist training through the Soul of Yoga school in San Diego and is certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. This gives her the knowledge to work with chronic conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, cancer and pain. Emily strives to create a welcoming, enjoyable environment with accessible sequencing that each person can adjust to meet their own needs. Emily honors the indigenous roots of yoga and shares the practices from a place of respect and love. Emily managed yoga studio Nature Yoga in Wicker Park from 2016 until the business closed during the pandemic in 2020. This inspired Emily to begin her own wellness business and further self development. Emily has been growing flowers since 2018 and built out Grand Garden on a friend's empty lot in 2022. She loves to share the healing powers of nature and flowers with the community.
