Watersheds Canada is a registered charity committed to providing education community programs across the country to empower community action and protection of lakes, rivers, and shorelines. By providing programs, tools, and resources to students, community groups, waterfront property owners, and organizations, Watersheds Canada ensures community-led and locally relevant environmental action is possible for our freshwater areas.Watersheds Canada is involved in a variety of projects and programs at the local, provincial, and national scale. Despite our big name, we are a small organization that raises every dollar each year from donations, grants, and foundations. We do not receive any yearly funding support. What has always set us apart is our dedication to the local communities: we take the time to listen to the communities in which we work. This means our programming is always impactful, specific, and as efficient as possible.
