WildNorth Women's Collective

Welcome to WildNorth Women's Collective, a vibrant community dedicated to empowering ​women through outdoor adventures and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. Our mission is ​to nuture the growth and development of outdoor skills for on the trails, in the forests and in the ​water while building confidence and lasting connections among women.This community is for all levels, most of our hikes take place ​in and around the Greater Toronto Area as well as other ​locations in Ontario. Once the weather warms up, our ​water adventures will begin on Lake Ontario, Lake Eerie ​and potentially other lakes around Ontario. Membership is ​Free as are most events. Some fees apply to events (i.e. ​parking, entrance fees, equipment rentals, travel expenses, ​etc). And retreats are coming in the future!Our founder, Maia has worked as an Exercise Physiologist and fitness coach for the past 22 years. She's a mom, fitness competitor, trainer, loves to cook and has ​recently discovered a true love of mountain climbing and ​surfing.
