Women Writers' Oasis

Women Writers' Oasis is led by Cemre Nur Öztürk (she/her), who explored writing as a medium to bring joy into her life in 2023. Writing gifted her both joy and a community.At Women Writers' Oasis, we organise creative and reflective writing workshops, where participants have the space to turn inwards and explore their inner landscape. With the help of prompts and games, writing becomes a social activity, where participants can also share their texts and receive encouraging feedback from each other.Cemre co-hosted the "Dreaming Awake" and "Be The Witch They Cannot Burn" zine workshops, co-published these zines and published a printed book "Station to Station" with her writing community. Station to Station has been awarded in the category of best local stories-Berlin in the Thalia Storyteller 2024 contest.
