However, despite their large numbers, people with autoimmune conditions often struggle unnoticed and ignored by society. They face pain and danger every day, but many people don't understand what they're going through. This is because autoimmune diseases are often invisible.The Workers with Autoimmune Ailments Alliance fights against stigma, discrimination, and other threats to the health of workers with compromised immune systems.
