Yogi Den

My name is Dennis, AKA Yogi Den. I started my journey to intentionally healing my body and mind after an divine experience at one of my first ever yoga classes 2.5 years ago. I rose from the mat sobbing in tears from releasing stagnant energy from my body, cells and tissues. I was a different person after that day, which caused me to then go down the rabbit hole of information to better understand my experience, which then led me to my teachers. I started out in a 75hr teacher training to then receiving my 200hr certificate as a certified yoga instructor. I vowed to teach and share the principles and the science of yoga with my community here in Philly, where we struggle with extreme trauma from poverty, gun violence and self worthlessness. This is a epidemic that can be reversed if we just remembered who we are.
